The Skills Programme – Hair Colouring Attendant (SP230303) at SMT Training Center is designed to provide learners with foundational skills and knowledge in assisting with professional hair colouring services. The course covers colour theory, product preparation, sectioning, application support, and aftercare procedures, with a strong emphasis on hygiene, safety, and client care. Students will gain hands-on experience working alongside qualified stylists, learning how to mix, apply, and manage colour treatments effectively. Upon completion, participants will be fully prepared to assist in salon environments as competent hair colouring attendants.
REQUIREMENTS FOR UNDERTAKING THIS QUALIFICATION
NQF Level 1 qualification (Grade 9). Exemptions may be made for adult returners with experience of the workplace.
