Simply Love SMT Training.   I called SMT Training Centre and was immediately assisted by one of their consultants.  I explained the urgency in learning nails.  I had only 2 weeks in which I had to master Acrylic and Gel Nails.  I had this great paying job, and I just could not let this opportunity to pass me.

Venita Naidoo – the Principal interviewed me and she could see how passionate I was about Nails, seeing my enthusiasm, she guaranteed me that I will be great at nails, she advised me that a person has to be passionate about the career they choose and only then they can be a SUCCESS in life.

She allocated an individual Lecturer to me, so that I could get 100% attention and finish in time.  My Lecturer Priya Govender was patient and encouraging and I loved every minute of it! I like to say ‘’Thank You” to SMT Training Centre for giving me the confidence in working within my Trade.  I was practising beauty before I approached SMT Training to enrol for the ITEC Beauty Specialist Course but was not confident in doing certain treatments on my clients.  I studied Beauty and Nails with another college but was very disappointed.  I had found that the previous college had not taught me much in the Industry compared to what I was learning at present.  This course has given me so much more than just confidence in my workplace, it is extremely well informative and the staff at SMT stops at nothing to make sure that their student is well informed and is always supportive, irrespective of what part of the day or night it is – they are always there for you.  The “Motto” is that a student always comes first and smaller classes with individual attention.

Choosing SMT Training Beauty Academy was my best choice.  In the beginning of the programme, I was very nervous because I had chosen the one year certificate course and part of the syllabus was Maths and English, but to my joy, I breezed through my course and its all thanks to my Lecturers.  They were patient and made learning fun.  My Lecturers were always motivating me to do my best and avoid being nervous.  I have completed my course in 2018 and now I am working at a remarkable and well renowned spa in Umhlanga.
