WHAT YOU LEARN:

In a chemical peel course, you will learn essential aspects of the treatment, including skin anatomy and physiology, types of chemical peels and acids, client consultation and assessment to determine the correct peel, safe application techniques, proper pre- and post-treatment care, health and safety protocols, and how to manage complications. You will also gain an understanding of the skin conditions chemical peels can treat, such as acne, scarring, fine lines, and pigmentation, and the prerequisites and insurance requirements for offering these services. You will learn about different chemical agents, such as AHAs, BHAs, and TCAs, and the pH levels, concentrations, and depths of penetration they affect. Aftercare.
